Occupational Therapy

Our licensed Occupational Therapists help individuals of all ages regain, develop, or master everyday skills in order to live independent, productive and satisfying lives.

Occupational Therapy Therapists focus on physical and cognitive capabilities such as balance, strength, perception and cognition which are needed in activities of daily living. We also help educate family members and caregivers on the best way to help your loved one through therapy.

Our Occupational Therapists assist individuals in performing all types of activities and daily routines such as:

Using a Computer
Writing
Reading
Dressing
Cooking
Eating
Driving
Grooming & Bathing


First, Ayers will assess individuals in order to develop their Activities of Daily Living (ADL). For example: our first goal to an individual with physical disabilities would be to help the individual learn how to perform daily routines such as dressing, grooming, bathing and eating safely on their own.

Once those skills are mastered by the individual, Ayers will assist in developing a program tailored to the person to help them perform tasks such as participating in education, caring for a home and family, seeking and maintaining employment and more.
