Outpatient Services

At Ayers, we believe individuals should be able to receive quality therapy services close to home because of this reason outpatient rehabilitation services to local individuals.

Individuals living in our area in need of therapy whether it is Physical, Occupational or Speech, can complete their therapy right here at Ayers. Other services such as extended services and short-term therapy programs are available. Many of our short-term rehabilitation individuals leave our center continue therapy through our outpatient services. Our licensed therapists will work with you to improve your level of function.

Individuals living in the Gilchrist, Levy, Dixie and North West Alachua County areas are able to receive treatment locally with a prescription or referral from their doctor.

Outpatient Therapy Services

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapists provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities from injuries or disease. read more »

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists assist individuals in performing activities of all types, ranging from using a computer to caring for daily needs such as dressing, cooking and eating. Occupational Therapists assist individuals to regain, develop or master everyday skills in order to live independent, productive and satisfying lives. read more »

Speech Language Therapy

Speech Language Pathologists work with individuals who have difficulty speaking and/or cognitive communication impairments, such as attention, memory and problem solving disorders. SLP's also work with individuals who have difficulty swallowing food or liquids. read more »

Short Term Rehabilitation

Whether you need services for several days, weeks or months; our physician-directed rehabilitation services are designed to complement a hospital stay or, in many cases, be a substitute for hospitalization.
